All the help you need to use Byndr efficiently
Sign Up for Byndr
Account on Byndr allows you to bring together all your learning materials, repackage them into learning spaces, share and discuss these learning materials and spaces with your connections.
Anyone can create a user account on Byndr using the following options.
Option 1: Using your existing Google Account
Steps:
- Go to https://app.byndr.com/
- Click Sign in with Google
- If you are already logged into your Google Account on your device/browser, Select your Google Account to log in to Byndr. Else, log in to your Google Account
- Click Continue to allow Byndr to access your information associated with your Google Account
- Select your Areas of Interest
Option 2: Using your email
Steps:
- Go to https://app.byndr.com/
- Click Create an Account
- Enter your email
- Enter your password and confirm
- Check the box agreeing to terms and conditions, and privacy policy
- Click Sign Up
- Enter your First Name
- Select your Areas of Interest
Change or Reset Your Password
Change your password
- Sign in to your Byndr Account
- Go to Your Profile
- Click Sign In & Security
- Under security, Click Change password
- Verify your account by giving your current password
- Setup your new password
Reset your password
If you are unable to sign in to your account, then you can try resetting the password.
- On the sign-in page, click “Forgot Password?”
- Enter your email associated with your user account
- Open your email and click on the password reset link
- Enter and confirm your new password
Hibernate your Byndr Account
Every user on Byndr has an option to temporarily disable their account. This makes the user and his data inactive on the platform, but the data of the user will still be intact if ever the user decides to come back.
Steps:
- Login to your account
- Go to Your Profile
- Click Privacy
- Click Disable Temporarily
- Give your password and Confirm
Any temporarily disabled user can activate their account by logging into byndr at any time.
Delete your Byndr Account
Every user on Byndr has an option to permanently delete their account. This step erases the user profile and associated data completely. This action is not reversible.
Steps:
- Login to your account
- Go to Your Profile
- Click Privacy
- Click Delete Permanently
- Give your password and Confirm
Upload Files to Library
User can upload files from their device to the personal Library on Byndr.
Upload Files:
On Web
- Go to Libray
- Select the folder where you want to upload your file(Optional)
- Click New file
- Select your file you want to upload
- Enter a title for your file
- Click Upload file
On Android
- Go to Libray
- Select the folder where you want to upload your file(Optional)
- Click New file
- Select your file you want to upload
- Enter a title for your file
- Click Upload file
On IOS
- Go to Libray
- Select the folder where you want to upload your file(Optional)
- Click New file
- Select your file you want to upload
- Enter a title for your file
- Click Upload file
Currently the files formats supported include documents, slides, spreadsheets, images, and Videos
Save Links to Library
Users can save links to their personal library in two ways:
- Users can click ‘+’ icon on right top corner and you will find list of options need to select the Add URL option . Copy the search and paste it in the link then click on Add to Library.
- User can click upload file to library which will takes us to the phone gallery Google drive/google photos. User can choose whether you want to upload images, Pdfs or any other documents to upload the file and save.
Create Activities
Users can make their materials more engaging by creating activities that can be shared along with the materials.
- Go to library click ‘+’ icon on top right corner once popup appears
- Click on Create Activity icon. Now create multiple choice questions with correct & wrong answer then save this activity with name you wish to. This quiz can share with other users to play & learn.
Search for Materials
User can Search differenet subject of the cards
- User can directly search whatever the material wants in the search box.
Take Notes on Materials and Activities
User can Search different subject of the cards
- User can Bookmark, share the Material & Activities
Create Learning Space
Users can package their materials and activities in creative ways to share their audience and build engagement
- Click on new learning space then create a self Library by adding subject name, description and tags accroding to the subject.
- select the given templates and add URL’s, Videos, PDF, Documents to it accroding to the users choice.
- you will see a popup of confirmation of 2 options, choose the option & click on Publish
Publish Learning Space
Users can share their materials with others.
After creating the learning space there is a Publish option user can publish.
Bookmark a Learning Space
User can bookmark the learning Space with the help of bookmark icon under the card.
Find Learning Spaces shared with you
- Go to Spaces click on Shared with me tab on the top right corner
- User can view List of learning spaces.
Add Materials and Activities to Learning Space
- User can add Materials and Activities by adding Url’s, Videos, pdf, documents to it according to the users choice.
- User can create multiple choice questions with correct & wrong answer then save this activity with name you wish to.
Comment on Learning Spaces
- User can comment the learning Space with the help of comment icon under the bottom.
Share Learning Spaces
- User can share the learning Space with the help of Share icon under the bottom.
Add Tags to Learning Spaces
- Click on new learning space you will find the tags bar
- Users can add the tags according to the subject.
Edit Learning Spaces
User can Rename the Learning Space in Library
- Click on the Library icon and user need to select the folder which he wants to edit.
Build Your Profile
In User Profile user can edit the folowing below details & save.
- Name
- Avatar Image
- Edit Custom status
- User can add about
- Date of Birth
- Location
- Organization Name
- Occupation
- Areas of Interest
- Add Social links
Share your Byndr Profile
User can share his/her Byndr profile though the icon which locates on top right corner. by clicking the icon
- After clicking the icon. Invite screen will appear you can add your friends/colleagues email id to send Invitation.
- User can Invite Link via WhatsApp, Facebook, Gmail, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Hangouts, Microsoft teams etc.,
- By clicking option called Copy Invite Link User can copy directly the link & share on any social medium group.
Invite your contacts to Byndr
- In Home Page User can Click ‘+’ icon on right top corner
- After clicking the icon you can view Invite your friends to join Byndr
- You can give the email id of your friends/colleagues and click send invitations
- You will receive an email form Byndr that tells Register with Byndr. User can Register with the link.
Find and Add Connections
- In User profile click connections user will see list of the connections
- To add another users go to the search box and type of the user name and seach.
- The users name will be displayed you can click on the connect button, you request received by the particular user
